Dirty Sanchez

Dainton is often seen as the founder of Dirty Sanchez, along with Matthew Pritchard, with whom he filmed the skating bootleg "Pritchard vs Dainton", where the two were in competition against each other at skating, as well as hitting and playing pranks on each other, the basis of the Dirty Sanchez programme. He and Pritchard went on to appear on MTV programme "Wrecked", which follows the same format as the "Prichard vs Dainton" bootleg, with more extreme pranks and stunts being played. Episodes of the show "Wrecked" featuring Dainton and Pritchard can be viewed on the UK Mtv website.[3]

Dirty Sanchez: The Movie

Dirty Sanchez: The Movie, a reality film based upon the series, was released on 22 September 2006. It is in the format of a world tour [1] and incorporates stunts related to the Seven Deadly Sins. Stunts are on a larger scale and more extreme than stunts shown in the TV show. The film also features the first cross over battle between two stunt groups. In their tour of Japan, the Dirty Sanchez team battles the Tokyo Shock Boys to see who is more extreme. In the end the Tokyo Shock Boys refuse to do a live show with Dirty Sanchez due to their disgusting antics.

The DVD of Dirty Sanchez: The Movie was released on 22 January 2007 by Pathé Distribution Ltd.

The movie premiered on television on MTV One at 10.30pm on 5 August 2007. Many of the scenes and stunts were cut short or not shown due to viewing reasons. TMF broadcast the movie later that month.

The movie premiered at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival. Described as Jackass on crack, the film is about "wicked nasty stunts such as liposuction drinking games, beer enema shotguns, things that shouldn't be done with male genitalia, and more...."[2]

The film was released on DVD in North America on September 11, 2007 by Dimension Extreme and Alliance Atlantis.

Charity work

On July 2006 Dainton and Pritchard set a challenge to skate 192 miles from Cardiff to Newquay in aid of Cancer Research Wales. The boys stopped at skate parks and shops for fans and signatures. The boys had forfeits for swearing, drinking and smoking. He ran the Cardiff half-marathon in 2007, raising £2,000 for Cancer Research Wales.

Current activities

Dainton runs his own skateboarding team known as Kill City. The team feature in his weekly video blog called 'Sunday Stooges' (via YouTube) along with other videos he records, edits and produces.[3] In late December 2009 early January 2010, Dainton released the official Kill City tour video titled 'Hobo Code' which was a free download via his Myspace account. He also tours with pritchard for their 'pritchard vs dainton' show which is similar to the Dirty sanchez live stage show.[4]
